It's time to admit, remakes, redos, reboots, all of it should be considered harmful. Bioshock Remastered. Final Fantasy remakes. Even stuff like the Sierra VGA remakes and Super Mario All Stars. Or Tactics Ogre on PSP. They all need to be not just shunned, but every cartridge, disc, ROM, and server hosting these abominations must be destroyed even if it takes the destruction of civilization itself.

I mean we've got pixel remakes now, using your modern device's 3D rendering capabilities to present something designed to look and play like an HD version of the charming original graphics we all knew and loved from the golden era of gaming.

But it's off, something's not right about pixel remakes. The soul has been removed. And this is after the era of remakes and re-dos which used 3D rendering, and never looked right either.
