Castlevania: Symphony of the Night is a PS1/PSX game released by Konami in 1997. It's "Metroidvania" platformer, or it has gameplay based around discovering new upgrades to progress in a semi-non-linear order. Sequence breaking is common.

Fuck yes SOTN! I love this game so much, even if it is the easiest Castlevania ever. Was anyone else confused as all hell that they named the first stage Bloodlines despite this game having noth to do with that one?
