If I understand correctly, some of these wads or pk3s or whatever just randomly replace a monster with its equivalent variety, but I'm thinking like a megawad based around the different games, you know?

Guys, Zandronum has some wacked out mouse movement for me. I installed a mouse accel fix a few months ago and it works but in Zandronum I think I'm getting some odd negative accel, even after turning off prescale mouse movement and smoothing. Also if I fire, sometimes it just keeps firing as if I'm holding down the mouse button. In the meantime I've used Odamex to play with my friends and it doesn't have the odd mouse problems. Can anyone help?

They're pretty typical shotgun shells, just in a two-at-once clip.
Though Marathon wasn't as swimming in shells as Doom was, so it's reasonable to assume the WSTE-M5 isn't limitless.

Or you could lump it it with how the Fusion Pistol/TOZT reloads or how he carries so much KKV-7 drums at once--it's offscreen.

BDSE's decorate functions seem to be particular to G/ZDoom. Even after seeing to the offending lines in the language.def it runs into more problems with all kinds of things, like not being able to pass parameters to "(", which is a part of A_Refire("STATE"), and Weapon.Bobstyle being an unkown property.

If there's more where that came from, I'd have to completely rethink the way I made the weapons behave, and I know next to nothing about the peculiarities of Zandronum.

It has some levels removed, but different sound effects and light effects.
It also removes enemies(Archviles) and removes the threat of Revenants(Rockets slowed 80%)

You can just play the PSX Doom mod, or just get PSX sounds.

The PC version is pretty much better in every regard.

You could also play Threshold of Pain, which is inspired by PSX Doom but is it's own thing and pretty solid.

lots of samsara stuff looks better in 2D. I tried to make the health pickup but they have no 3d elements.
Anything remotely spherical takes a lifetime to do,the helmet teached this in the hard way.

I'm trying to play Action Doom but I can't access the pistol. In the air plane when I try to shoot it switches to the knife automatically and I can't switch back. Once I get the rifle I can use it and switch back between it and the knife but without the infinite pistol ammo the game is unplayable.

Anybody know how to fix this? Help please.

I'm not sure what you're asking. All of the weapons are character-specific, not all of the items are.
Assuming you mean the weapons, either fiddle under custom controls in the menu or put samsara_cl_pickupmode 2 in console.

Each seperate lump seems to use it's own thing really, but they are negligible and can be figured out pretty much by looking at them. If you're modding anything more complicated than a simple map you'll find most of your "programming" done in DECORATE and ACS, yeah.

Imagine doing it with the Minotaurs.

Also, someone should consider an "intelligence" mod, where certain enemies won't retaliate toward accidental friendly fire, but WILL retaliate if it was on purpose, ie, if the thing was targeting them.
We could have "smarter" monsters that will react like this.

Related, we could have "commanding" monsters that sort of keep the underlings together.
Like, when in the vicinity of these monsters, monsters won't target each other over accidental friendly fire. And ones that are too "stupid" to "follow orders" get targeted by the big guy, or (difficult) he "gives permission" to get rid of the troublemaker.

Also, this smart commander guy could give your position away.
For instance, I've noticed that if a monster doesn't see or hear you, it will remain docile, even if there's a monster right next to it that's actively targeting you. Our "commander" could spot you and issue some kind of "roar" or whatever while pointing at you that basically copies whatever happens when you make noise and fire your weapon. Of course, that copy method would only work on monsters in your "noise zone," not his, so we'd have to copy the method but with location of the commanding monster.
And it could chain. Like, if other "smart" "commanding" monsters were in earshot of the one that spotted you, they would issue the same shout, which could chain around to a large area.

That's because ken's program exports to a very high pixel resolution. I halved it down to what would look proper scale for doom and it's more like this.

Well sorry, I've been playing Doom and Build games on and off since they came out but I've never been part of the community. Except for the odd Doom thread on /v/ and now these here on /vr/ from time to time.
