Duke is pretty much the epitome of awesome badass to me, but most of the games are just okay. I'd still rather play Serious Sam.

I unfortunately played DNF and being that the most enjoyable part was the Titty Bar, I concluded that the best game for Duke would be an Adventure game. Though, I'd prefer it was 2-D maybe like Full Throttle.

This is something I really don't get. Duke Nukem fans can't seem to agree on whether Duke Nukem is an actually badass character, or some kind of ironic parody of badass characters.

I would really rather have Duke be a parody then a serious thing, not just because that is how I have always viewed him as a character, but also because of how much he always stands out no matter where he is or what he is doing

Hes pretty much already an amalgamation of everything considered extremely manly from the 1980's, so I believe the parody aspect fits him way better then any other sort of thing

Thats also one reason why I hated DNF, outside of the completely ass tastic levels and unfaithful game-play Duke just didn't feel like Duke, he was more some random dick heads idea of what Duke stood for and it was just way to serious a portrayal

It's okay. Never liked it as much as other FPS's of the time. It never transcended Doom imo.
