Which is the best Wizardry game?
Is there a benefit to playing each one?
Does each game even have a reason to complete it? I mean, I had fun with what I played of one but it seemed like there was nothing really pushing me as the player forward. Is there an ending? A boss? Or is the end-goal to just survive long enough to become powerful?

In fact you only get EXP in Wizardry IV by progressing through the game instead of mindlessly grinding random encounters.
