That's based off an anime and not directly off of Jules Verne.

This is so peculiar to pronounce because you either go full Anglo or full French. No in-between.

There are a few Nadia Secret of Blue Water games, pretty sure the NES one has a fan translation and not retro but it was in Super Robot Wars X. Regardless what you think of those games seeing Nadia get shit on when she thought she was special for being able to talk to animals only to realize she was talking to talking animals was great.

Yeah, it's very soulful. And has an english fan translation too.
It's a strange game because it kind of seems like an RPG, but it has 0 battles, it's more like an adventure game.
It starts like the show, but at the end it has some big differences.
Worth playing if you like Nadia. It's a bit repetitive and some of the design choices regarding exploration/item management can be tedious, but it's not too long.

The Famicom game is pretty cool, basically a Nadia SRW/Famicom wars game.

Skies of Arcadia made me want to read all of his novels since they all seem like adventure kino. I remember thinking Nadia had a similar vibe to Skies and when I found out it's ALSO based off a Jules Verne book it all made total sense.

Sadly I still haven't got around to any, I tried listening to Journey to the Center of the Earth while exercising but the speaker kept changing every three chapters and it became incredibly fucking annoying. Haven't tried another since, maybe I should see if From the Earth to the Moon has one.

Oh whoops, just noticed you said BASED off not inspired by, oh well it's close enough, the world is inspired by his works.
