To be honest OP, I am a Game Gear collector and that collection is pretty sick. Everything is in fantastic condition. Lots of the titles are worth <$20 new in today's market, for example I bought Surf Ninjas for $5 new online just a few months ago. All of the sports games are worth <$2 each in their current condition (NFL '95 is a 99 cent game) That being said he does have a few titles that are very rare to find CiB like Cosmic Spacehead, Adam's Family, Bonker's Wax Up, Asterix and the Great Rescue, Samurai Showdown and Iron Man XO Man-o-War. Those games each are go for at least $100 on ebay. If he seperated it and got max price for all of his sought after games on top, like Crystal Warriors, Dragon Crystal (for some reason fucking hard to find an NTSC-U version of), Shining Force, Vampire: Master of Darkness and Shinobi II, as well as max price for the rare titles, he would have around $1200-$1500 worth of titles there. However I would be reasonably prepared to pay $800 for the whole bundle, not "thousands of dollars" like he seeks.

Ratings really mean nothing because the sellers will almost always try to settle if they fuck with you. For example I bought 6 game gear games complete from a listing on ebay. However they packaged it like a fucking retard and using 3 plastic bags as cushioning as if that would do anything instead of, you know, bubble wrap (and I paid $13 for shipping, spend 50 cents for bubble wrap you cheap fuck, Jesus). As expected, the boxes were completely smashed and only 2 of them survived in the condition shown on the listing. So I emailed the seller complaining and they offered me 30% of what I paid back in order to get good feedback.

Of course I sold out and accepted and gave them good feedback so they maintained their 100% feedback. Most of the time people would rather just settle because if I wanted to return I still lose my money for shipping both ways.

The only thing that matters when it comes to an online sale is the price. For example I bought a DS game (Advance Wars) for $7 online recently from a seller with like 95% reputation (gasp). Item came in perfect condition, fast, shipped well. Looked like it was just taken out of the plastic.
