I'm still salty that Spider-Man vs. The Kingpin 2 got dropped because SEGA thought X-Men was the better licensed IP to go for at the time... it's true that they were right about this, but I still do wish we had gotten a sequel to what was really the only great Spider-Man video game until we finally got Neversoft's title in 2000, maybe it would've sucked, but we can't know for sure.

I mean, we did get Spider-Man: Web of Fire on the 32x and that seems sort of Spider-Man vs. The Kingpin inspired... and it sucked, so maybe this was ideal... but maybe it would've rocked.

It was basically just a tech demo, but the level of detail in facial animation is insane for its time, it wouldn't look that detailed again until LA Noire.

Titan Warriors for the NES. Fun game, seems to have been fully completed. It was even promoted in Japan as Neo Vulgus, but was never releases their either. Not sure what happened.

I was pretty hyped for this game that got canned as a kid. There was a tech demo of one of the characters walking around the castle grounds and the entrance to the castle which excited me at the time.

How come? I mean, it's fair if you dislike it, I can see the issues some might have with it, the level design isn't particularly inspired for most of the adventure, with only a couple of levels having a bit more exploration and vertical movement, use of Spider-Man's powers besides web slinging, in general the focus goes for the bosses that are a bit tough to figure out, some of them at least...

I still think it's a good video game though, your powers are fun to use, do the character justice, and in general controlling Spider-Man is a joy, it's not too long, nor short, and just takes practice.

P.S. At the end you get to save MJ's life and have her dress up as a Playboy Bunny to reward Peter for his efforts as she gives him the time of his life and that alone makes the whole thing worth it.

I'm going to download all 3 and give them a play (probably will enjoy the sega cd version the most due to the enhancements of that system). cool thanks for mentioning it and seeing Mj in a bunny suit im hoping im good enough to beat the games and see that.

My vote is for Ultima VIII: The Lost Vale. This expansion for U8 was fully complete - Gold Master, box art approved... All that it had to do was go into production but it was cancelled because U8 didn't do well.

I'm happy to hear! Indeed there are 3 versions to it... technically there's 4... but the Master System and Game Gear are essentially the same, I'd play Master System due to the better FOV since it has a larger resolution. I'd say Mega CD is better than all of the others thanks to the content, password feature and pseudo open NY to it, the cutscenes are also still fun to watch, it's an amazing version.

I still like Mega Drive better, but I'm biased, it's a version with everything I appreciate and I'm sure you'll like it too... the Master System/Game Gear one though? It's quite unforgiving... so good luck.

P.S. I just want to clarify... there isn't any Playboy Bunny MJ... the endings you get are either Peter and MJ dying, MJ dying alone, or you saving her, they hug and it's emotional... but no sexy times...
