The Megaman games were the hardest games on the NES. You're a fool if you think otherwise.

They are among the easiest NES games. There's no bullshit, no memorisation, you have unlimited continues, and you have E-tanks.

beat the entire set when I was 15 months old

This is out of order very slightly. 5 is in front of 6.
And on your point... Ninja Gaiden is clearly harder.

He seems more like an "oi m8" kind of guy, you know, the Australian bayous.

The Megaman games are some of the most accessible games on the NES.
>You have infinite continues.
>E-tanks let you choose any of the hard segments.
>Weapon ammo refills every stage.
>Enemies infinitly respawn and drop weapon ammo, so even if you run out you can always restock by grinding.
>You can control your jump mid-air.
>Most of the games include a movement ability like the magnet beam or rush Jet that lets you cheese any of the platforming sections.
There is nothing overly difficult about the Nes games. I'm assuming the reason they're still so popular nowadays is in part due to that easy difficulty (And the nice graphics and music)

While OP is a genuine retard cocksucker, what actually is the hardest NES game?

troll thread. as already stated. gaiden and diver are way harder, come on, do better. I beat every megaman as a kid with no cheats/game genie.

Ill respond to this even though i just posted and this is a troll thread. Lets turn it into a hardest nes games thread. I actually beat the gaiden trilogy as a kid, (jesus dont ask me how). And I just googled zoomer lists to refresh my memory. Most games listed are bullshit games youtube "ecelebs" have claimed are hard, must all of which I beat as a kid. But it brought up a few that i do remember being hard as shit. I never beat battletoads, dear god. And ghosts and goblins i vividly remember beating with my friends game genie because otherwise it seemed impossible. Also, in response to the dudes metal storm comment, i love that game but i dont remember it being that hard, but i know i never beat it.

Hardest i've beaten are 1943 and Adventure Island, but I could never beat Micro Machines so I would say that's probably harder.
I haven't beaten Holy Diver, i had a couple of stages left, but it didn't seem that hard

>Adventure Island
Idk how this is even possible

the Mexican Runner beat AI in just a little over an hour, took him only three attempts to clear the notorious level 8-2

Might & Magic is probably one of the toughest NES games.

"Hardest NES game that's actually good" is probably a better question for this audience, since we aren't super-super-hardcore investigators who would extensively play every single piece of trash just to find out all the information we can about it, including its difficulty level. For me it's Battletoads I guess - but only if you deliberately (or ignorantly) play without using the hidden warps. I never liked Adventure Island enough to make a serious attempt at that one so I don't really know how hard it eventually gets. It's obviously not any Mega Man of course, yes.

I played partway through Holy Diver once and I don't remember having trouble... I think I was probably going for a 1CC from the start and lost interest along the way because I didn't end up liking the game enough, or something? I dunno, maybe it ends up being super hard. Never tried Bayou Billy.
