The S controller hurts my knuckles after a while, what is the most comfortable xbox controller?

You might have Ehler-Danlos syndrome.

I would have said Xbox Series controller through Blueretro, but apparently Blueretro doesn't support the first Xbox. Which is pretty funny, because it means that I can use the Series controller on PS2 but you can't use it on an Xbox.

Couldn’t figure out where to put them when people complained the controller was too big but making it smaller to satisfy demand made it so there was less room for the buttons.
They’d eventually turn the extra face buttons into extra shoulder bumpers though so it all worked out in the end eventually

The wireless Logitech controllers are the only ones worth buying

They perfected the design with the 360 -- minus the crappy dpad, though in my anecdotal experience there were some runs where the dpad felt pretty decent. Xbox controllers since are just refinements of the 360 design, the 'bone and Series controllers are all excellent.

360 was a huge downgrade from the Duke and even the S controller. Too tiny and bony.

You could change grenades with the side of your thumb while still touching the other face buttons, the Duke is superior but you couldn't jump and change grenades as efficiently.

seriously? they couldve just made the buttons not so far away from the edges and made the edges less round. you know like the dreamcast controller.

S feels more full and comfy for the hands in my experience. 360 is like a compromise between the S and the PS2 controller if that makes any sense.
