What retro games have a stock market in them where you can buy/sell shares or products etc as part of the gameplay?

Picrel is Railroad Tycoon 2. It's got a decent stock market system, but there's only a few things you can buy, just other train companies, or your own.

Drug Lord 2 is another game with a drug market. Not really a stock market and doesn't have decent charts and stuff but still functions in a market kind of way.

Any others? I'm sure I've seen some, i just can't remember what games they are

it's fun in small amounts, even if you're not making money. It's actually kind of good it's not with real money for people like me that are retarded and lose money every time they trade for real

Drug Lord 2 does it fairly well. Even though it's not a stock trading game, but just the game loop is short and you can have a game done in 10 minutes and you can just try to beat your high score and stuff

Neat little feature in this game. Very fun swapping out 5+ memory cards to hunt around all your villages for the best prices, if perhaps a little tedious.

So you can buy stock and then sell it? so can you use the stock market like a bank? just buy a lot of stock and then sell when you need the money back?

But the value might go down anon. Then you'll get back less than what you put in, unlike a safe JP Morgan Chase Checking Account.

Do you mean in railroad tycoon 2? In that game there's several train companies operating on the map at the same time, one of them being yours. You can buy stock in any of the companies if you have enough money. The performance of the companies determines the stock price so it's possible to lose a lot if the company whose stock you bought does poorly. If you buy your own stock you're basically betting on yourself doing well
