This one is really good and the visuals are punching way above their weight, some levels honestly look pretty nuts.

It's a fantastic sequel and the OST is great too.

PS1 has so many good racing games that rollcage got lost in the shuffle

Looks to be the original version of GRIP combat racing. I didn't know this game had a grandpa. I bought GRIP for switch but it's a pretty bad port. The good version is on steam.. fun game. It's a little rough around the edges.

Roll cage is the sort of game I'm typically interested in.

If anyone wants to play the pc versions on modern os, there has been updated fan builds to make it work.

>bought it because /vr/ suggested it
>found it interesting, but a little too chaotic with the destructible environments (and oh lord jesus the lag)

No offense fellas, but I think I'll stick to Wipeout XL

Rollcage wasn't released for pc originally, the main coder ported it and the sequel to pc himself a couple of years ago.

You're talking shit. I played this using nvidia 3D vision before the PSX version came out.

Some of us are old enough to remember the details.

Cool, looks like they were inspired by this track in that screenshot.

That demo really blew me away at the time. Spent many hours playing.

I went back to it recently and didn't feel it aged very well. The music was especially annoying and repetitive. Had a much better experience returning to Gran Turismo (1). I think Rollcage would still be fun multiplayer though.
