Wirehead Roadmap

Quick preface: inputs can be buffered except for a single shortcut, input screens will beep and draw available inputs at the bottom right of the screen. Checkpoints are gained by completing lines of inputs, separated by linebreaks. Losing a battery sends you back a checkpoint, any additional notes will be indicated with an asterisk* or plus+. Cutscenes will be indicated as [Scene], will not be described, and can be skipped by pausing and pressing A. Otherwise, enjoy the show.

House Egress [Scene]
Left, Right, Right, Left, Left
Up,* Right, Up, Right, Left, Up, Down
Right

*Shortcut after driveway: Right, Up. Input buffering doesn't like to work here. Everywhere else is okay though.

Up the River [Scene]
Right
Up, Right, Down

Going West [Scene]
Right,* Left, A, A

*Left takes you to the same place but you lose some power

Lost and Found [Scene]
Right,
Right, Up,
Left,*
Left, Right, Up, Up

*All vehicles are valid paths, the wagon is surprisingly the shortest route

The Operation [Scene]
Left, Up
Left, Right, Left, Right,
Left, Left, Right, Left, Right, Right, Left

Cabin Sweep
Up, Left,+ Right, Right,+ Right, Left, Right, Up, Right, Left,* Left, Right, Left

+There is flexibility with these inputs, feel free to try other inputs.
*This one has an incorrect perspective relative to its input and has been marked to denote this absurd mistake

Stop the Presses
Left,* Right, Left
Left,* Right, Right, Right, Left, Right, Up, Left, Left, Right, Up
A, B, A.

*Up and Right are not valid routes, getting in the middle car after is not valid either. The truck is a valid route and is better in my opinion.

That's the game for the most part, I've intentionally left out some routes but feel free to request them. The story is nothing special and really serves as a vehicle for various stunts and pratfalls. Dangerously cheesy, highly entertaining. Recommended.

Favorite games are anything uses that asic like batman and F1 beyond the limit is good but could use analog controls.
Next most impressive are games with voices with a couple of still pictures, it causes some weird thing where I say wait what, this is coming from a genesis. Stuff like Popful mail and Snatcher.
Surprised how much the enhanced sound improves neo geo ports, it really does feel like you are playing a much better version.
And farenheit seems to one of the few fmv games I like, I treat it as an on rail fps, it really does feel like you are deciding what happens. The graphics are realistic enough that I wonder what it was like at that filming location and how the fire effects were made, it certainly looks like colour filters were used in a lot of areas.

>>10813930
if you look at the top selling pc engine games a lot of them are the walk around and interact with animated people where you talk and see their their facial expression are. In Sega Saturn advertisements too they really emphasize talking to people and then getting detailed facial reactions.

>>10813953
I got a sega cd video tape from the market and they portray those make my music videos as a sort of video editing software at least in being able to choose what clips are shown. I actually got the disc and is far worse and would have felt totally burned if I had have brought that. Its basically a song and you chose one of 3 video clips while it is playing, at best its a free demo.

>>10811950
its so you can't just cheat and spam the main weapon which is the most boring way to play.

>>10812217
Its a con in a way, you see the fmv in store and think it look amazing so you buy it. I borrowed this game called mad dog macree which stunned me that this was a real game but it wasn't that long I realized it was basically fake.

>>10811948
