In your op, which Super Nintendo game(s) was the most overrated or received scores too high, and you thought it deserved lower review scores? For me, it would easily be Super Metroid because of its horrible controls, dark graphics, confusing level designs, repetitive gameplay, and hard-to-find power ups/abilities. I ALWAYS needed a strategy guide to play through (and write shit down if I didn't have one at the moment) which is insane. Games should be simple & straight forward, not necessarily easy, but convenient to enjoy & progress through. Super Metroid was always a 'hipster' type where geeks think it's hot when it's really not. 7.5/10

How about, "all of the above"? The SNES is a tremendous piece of shit with only a dozen games anyone cares about, and even those dozen games are extremely overrated. I will never understand how such a boring, shallow console has so many up in arms to defend it.

Amiga has better RPG's, strategy games, and adventure games than the SNES, and it's not even close.

Any of the popular RPGs. The graphics are still static and barely better than previous gen, and the gameplay didn't evolve at all
