ITT bosses who are harder than their respective game's final boss. Excluding joke final bosses like in Gradius.
I'd say SF2 World Warrior's Vega/Balrog/Claw.
>jumps around like he's on crack
>can do extremely high damage
>can pretty consistently fully dodge projectiles with backflips
>has that cage climb air dive attack that's unlike any other move in the game (this phase can actually be a blessing though, if you have good reflexes and are using a character with a strong anti-air like SRK)
Really stands out since he's sandwiched between two other boss fights ("Boxer" and Sagat) which are arguably easier than late-stage Guile or Blanka fights.

Am I confused? Only the last guy is the boss, the rest of the guys are just regular guys.

UHHH Street Figher is just a series of fights, how are you saying one is a boss and another isn't? Only the last dude counts as a boss.

In the original World Warrior, Balrog, Vega, Sagat, and Bison are all non-playable and considered to be boss characters.

true, vega/balrog/claw man deserved to be the last boss instead of bison/vega/dictator.

So motaro and goro aren't bosses?

They are sub-bosses.

The main strategy to beat Vega is:
1) find any way to knock him down
2) jump over him and use any attack (preferably a flying kick)

It seems weird, but he's programmed to counter any jumping attack with his own, which has a better hitbox, but since you're already on top of him, he'll lose every time.

Remember, you have to jump and attack before he even gets up.

Yeah, if you try to fight SF2 CPU like a human player you might not have much luck. A lot is figuring out how to cheese them, often by getting them stuck in a loop.
