how the fuck are you supposed to figure this shit out without a walkthrough ?

>> No.10750571

The main quest is straightforward, but there's a lot of dumb shit with the sidequests. If nothing else, the logbook gives you the full schedule of when an NPC is doing stuff (but not where)

>> No.10750638

>>10750571
there are only 4 dungeons so the sidequest take up a lot of the game. the dungeons are really good tho so far just finished snowhead

99% of the secrets are revealed by talking to gossip stones with the mask of truth. I'd be curious how many secrets a new player that did their due diligence exploring would get.

By interacting with the game world.

Talk to the npcs, the relevant ones will have their schedule put into your notebook.
Then you just go back to the npc at the right time according to the notebook.
There is not that much cryptic shit. Just read the notebook

I can't. I have moderate dyslexia.

The issue here is that the time it takes to complete a certain quest may be long enough that one’s progress in this regard may be wiped out. Didn’t the AVGN have trouble with pushing a boulder, only for his progress to be reset once morning turned into evening?

Ever watch picrel? He didn't have a walkthrough either.

>> No.10751271

You weren't, official guides and gaming magazines were a big market back then for a reason.

People who think Zelda MM is superior or even a Top 3 Zelda game does not know what is even a good video game let alone what is a Zelda game.

They are just hipsters

>> No.10751480

One of your friends would find something you didn't know about and they would tell you and then you would tell them something you found and if you had a friend group all would be enriched by such discoveries.

>> No.10751493

I would listen to what the NPCs have to say, which is what no one did

Not that anon but I'm on the old end of millennials and I hate Majora's Mask. I think the concept of a Groundhog Day video game is cool but in practice it's just obnoxious to try to play.

This is why Zelda is ubislop now, retarded fucking zoomers can't figure out how to interact with a game world without it being broken into lists of formulaic repeatable tasks and a magic arrow that points to the next objective.

>> No.10752569

>>10752557
Detailed NPC interaction? Nah fuck it they won't read it anyway, not enough attention span. Just make all the npcs background characters that don't talk except when giving "quests". Unique locations? Nah they'd get lost, just make a million little google map markers that's all they know.

You're not. Your meant to buy a strategy guide if going for 100% completion. Same as OoT actually, only it's about twice as obscure.

I’ve never played MM. I’d get them all because I’m that good
