Bushido blade fuck yeah.

Also good fun is twisted metal. There are plenty of good fighting games. NFL blitz is a good sports title. One we used to play was a top down shooter called rage or something. Air combat was a good dogfighting game. Armored core was fun to duke it out with too.

The first one, or Project Phantasma. In Master of Arena a TON of shit gets nerfed.

Micro Machines V3 and Circuit Breakers are also great with chums.

Fighting Force and Future Cop: LAPD both have great co-op gameplay

There aren't many games where it matters less than Worms. Everything looks exactly the same. It looks nice on PC or console

It's pretty easy to pick up for a fighting game, the moves are flashy and super easy to pull.

This game, man. Get yourself a multitap, and get this game.

The premise is, you're in a rotating chamber with an obstacle course on the four walls. One person has the ball. The other three are trying to get the ball.

They're trying to get the ball, because they have C4 strapped to their chests, and the timer is ticking except when you're holding the ball.

I remember when I stumbled upon a copy of this in a thrift store, literally the day before-hand i had been trying to figure out what it was called, talking with a bud. Every person I show it to wonders why it hasn't had some kind of sequel or remake. Fun game, well worth getting a few buds together with a multi-tap.

Twisted Metal 1 had larger stages and more stable driving (not floaty) but Twisted Metal 2 did just about everything else better. And since it had so many arena stages, it's arguably better for that reason anyway. So take your pick. 3, 4 and small Brawl may as well have not existed though.

TM3 had just plain bad gameplay, small and dull levels for the most part and all the new characters and weapons were total shit.

TM4 was alright, but it took a long time to actually wear down the health on your enemies. So what would normally be a 3-5 minute match could last in excess of 12 minutes. Longer if they healed themselves. and the bosses at the end of every single player round just made it even more tedious (IMO, of course). And once again, the new weapons sucked ass.

TMSB has even worse gameplay than TM3 and feels slow as fuck, witch is too bad because it's a neat idea that could have been made into something. What could have been effectively a cross between TM2 and Mario Kart ended up as a poorly executed pile of shit because of a few stupid choices on the part of the developers.

For my tastes, the best retro TM is TM2, but only because of the gameplay and intensity of some of the stages. I feel that TM1 is a better overall game, but the gameplay holds it back just enough for me to like TM2 more.

The best game in the entire series is a tie between TM Black and the PS3 game (and Head On ain't far behind). But that's a whole other topic entirely.

Never played any Armored core games long enough to pick a favorite. Don't know why, but that whole thing never really did it for me.

To this day, I can still kick everyone's ass (computer and player alike) on the Jet Moto 1 track Nightmare (which came with the Jet Moto 2 Greatest Hits edition) on the hardest difficulty. I also did it with my eyes closed all of one time.

Nightmare is child's play compared to the assload of hard levels in JM2, especially the ice ones.

I like how JM1 organized the games by level style (Ice levels, swamp levels, oceanic/suburban levels, weird level) and JM2 organized them by difficulty (Circle, square, diamond, double-diamond)
