You should check this out, OP. It really emphasizes the care and effort that was put into video games back in the day, and easily outshines any game released in the past decade, in my opinion.

Even the tertiary characters such as Jane's interviewer have incredibly fleshed out motivation and backstory. Truly a monument to storytelling.
