This game has such wonderful music, melancholic at times but more than anything has a sense of nostalgic fun to it. Great time too, both versions are great, but the TG16 music has such a stand out feel to it.

HuChads, what are we playing tonight?

My favorite games are the CD titles (especially pic related), but I recently played a few TurboChip games. The Parodius port is nice. Also tried Salamander but it's way too hard for me without instant respawn. I meant to play Rabio Lepus Special and Coryoon and some point and just never got around to it

Am I the only one who thinks there should have been an arcade cabinet version of “Moto Roader”?
>>10636661
That sounds like it could have been the tagline of “Undertale”.

this port added a duck button
it trivializes the final boss, can't think of a real use for it otherwise

moto roader mc got a switch/ps4 re-release which is really unusual

i think the caravan stage is great (theres 3 new bosses that you unlock with very tough scores) but except for the new intro/game over screen, its inferior to the snes version in all aspects. it's even missing a button for the bell powerup so you activate it automatically

Star Parodier is slowly becoming one of my favorite games of all-time, it's not too hard, not too easy, it's just the right difficulty for a shooter, with one of the best video game soundtracks on the PC Engine, and the whole thing feels like a big love-letter from Hudson to fans that stuck with them, it's one of the comfiest games ever made.

Beat this a few days ago, found it superior to the NES original. Really fun, great pace. Wish Hudson remade Adventure Island 2-4 on this platform.

All of the following Adventure Island games are superior to the NES original. I like them all for different reasons except the NES one.

What's the best pad on the PC-Engine? I have a 3 button pad and while it's nice to have the extra button you don't need it for most games (Asuka 120% comes to mind as one great game where you frequently have to press Run, to dodge) and the d-pad feels like crap compared to the official controllers. It's also kinda wide and bulky.

But has anyone used pic related?

i still think avenue 3 is best
it was originally designed for forgotten worlds. they shouldve just had a 2 button option with autofire though
