This pile of trash was boring as hell...long, boring meandering stages & the force powers were scattered all over the place. You were lucky to even stumble across more than a couple of them throughout the game. Every mini-boss fight took forever to defeat since they were just bullet sponges (Wampas, Probots). I got all the way up to Bespin and fought Vader maybe once or twice. By then, I had like one life left, Darth kicked my ass and I never played the game again. To this day, I've never seen the ending, don't know, don't care.

Had the game as a kid and hated it, too. I don't think I ever beat the 2nd or 3rd land stage. Man was it boring.

I don't remember if it's good or bad, but I didn't know how to play and it pissed me off.
Box art was cool as fuck.

Was made by HAL.

I happened to never get any of the really terrible gb games so I just assumed game quality was generally about the same. Got a Lynx and Turbo sub pretty cheap brand new. Its an ok game but not the excitement I expected, the game feels cheap like an Atari St or Amiga magazine PD demo. It actually made me not want to get any more Lynx games.

No joke, I got it as a kid because my parents really didn't want me playing violent games AT ALL but I guess that seemed like a good middle ground for them.

>> No.10631432

Jesus, you forget about how much utter shit Ubisoft, Akklaim, and Ocean Software shat out for the GameBoy.
I'm sure there'd be some games that weren't fuck awful, but buying a GB game based on a licensed property or a home console port was always a shit decision.

Great graphics, great audio. Terrible gameplay. Standard trash shovelware platformer. The graphics were nice enough that I'd keep trying it anyway.

The original eaely 90s releases were licensed but not made by Capcom, and when the special editions of thw movies were coming out, they got rereleased by other companies.

robot wars for gbc...was around $10 from bigW, right next to shit like pokemon crystal for like $60. It was so cheap, mum got it for me when i asked. I must have put over 50 hours into this shit back in the day... there was almost no gameplay to be had, but still had fun tricking the AI into burning themselves alive.

>>build your own robot!
was like 4^4 options, but there were very little differences between them all.

overall worth the $10 as a pre-tween, but fucking hell its a 1\10 game
