I'm curious, has anyone here ever tried the Nuzlocke Challenge?

I did once in a contest with my friend to see who would get the furthest without ragequitting. I managed to get up to the Elite 4 and beat Blue.

My friend being ever the faggot declared that the run 'didn't count' because I didn't nickname my Pokemon. Bitch, they're animals, not waifus except Garde

>decide to beat up some trainers for money and exp in viridian forest
>caterpie gets poisoned
>oh god oh god
>scramble to pokecenter
>caterpie has fainted
>oh god no
>have funeral
>go back through viridian forest
>find out theres an antidote pickup right next to where she got poisoned

I've done a few. They're boring as sin in all honesty. People who lose Pokemon are generally careless and don't plan for every situation possible within their limits. Then you start to reach the point where the game just becomes impossible because you have to limit yourself to the point where it's just watching flies drop for any of them to even stand a serious chance of dying.

There's no rule 15 for it, and if there's one game to nostalgia over it's the first few Pokémons. I spent such a long time playing Gold version, found a shiny Hoot-Hoot too. I'd imagine the save is dead by now, but still, such memories.
