because we had plenty to play on all the other consoles we already owned. Remember Pokemania was going on and G/S came out a couple months after the DC. And FF8 I think launched the same day as the DC. There wasn't room for Sega in the conversation anymore. That's how I remember it.

Should have had a 7th button (not counting the start button), and allowed Microsoft Game Studios to put at least some of its games on there as well as on the Xbox. Also, should have convinced Enix to make games for it. Might have lasted more into Q1 or Q3 2002 production-wise, but no longer.
