I have never heard of this game, it was only released in one region and there is only one review on GameFAQs that reads as if it was written by a 10-year old.

It apparently has stop-motion cutscenes which sounds cool.

I don't know why people pretend like Powerstone has so much staying power. Like, I ENJOY that style of arena game but Powerstone is not very fun to control...
I liked Boombots a lot as a kid but it doesn't hold up great, I'd say only like 3 characters are actually viable at a competitive level. The character designs and cutscenes are fantastic though.
In my opinion, the most satisfying games in the arena fighter genre are Treasure's Rakugaki Showtime, Kung Fu Chaos on Xbox and Shrek Super Slam
