OK /vr/ I recently realized that there is no more gaygrumps (gamegrumps) and I became happy again, so I want to discuss about what happened to the hero of time after majoras mask? I know he became kinda stalfo or something like that, but my point is that did he came back to hyrule? or what? because in TP they referred to him as a hero and supposedly he was never remembered as a hero

>> No.1055618

I seriously doubt that Link became that ghost in TP

>> No.1055625

There still is Game Grumps.

It's not the same because Jon left, but it's still there.

also I, actually I think miyamoto just said that like a way to scape of the theories, I really believe aonuma fuck up all the time line and they invented all those time splits

I don't think he became a stalfos. The Hero's Shade is either just his ghost or the physical incarnation of the Hero's regret or something.

I've heard people say that it's been confirmed that he settled down with Malon at some point, which explains TP Link living in Ordon and working at a ranch, I guess. I've never actually seen the source for that, though.

>supposedly he was never remembered as a hero

I think that's because he never really did much in Hyrule itself. He just ratted out Ganondorf and dicked around with Zelda a little bit before leaving to go look for Navi.

yeah I heard the same, that he settled down with malon and founded ordonia province, thats because of a war with ganon, something that has more sense than hyrule historia himself, because within told everything to zelda, ganon could not obtain the the keys of the sacred realm, so he started a war against the hyrule kingdom.

>I think that's because he never really did much in Hyrule itself

yeah he did a lot, but thanks of the zelda time split, he could not stay on his real time(dimension)

Unless he becomes a Stalfo post mortem, its unlikely.

That's why non-time travellers shouldn't mess with the timestream. How many forked timelines did Zelda create by doing that, like four?

actually 3, but yeah she did a mess doing that, and also I feel I little bit of shame about the heroe of time, he was not remembered in hyrule and either in termina thought, but thats why I am confused, why the fuck in TP the light spirits call him a heroe if he was not a heroe?

>> No.1055717

>>1055708
Pulling this out my ass, maybe because Ganon was sealed away, TP took place in the timeline where Link saves hyrule from ganon? Now that I think of it, Link created at least one forked timeline by saving hyrule. How badly did OoT fuck things up anyway?

>> No.1055720

>>1055717
And by extension, Link actually did heroic shit that the light spirits could acknowledge. I dunno, I personally think they shouldn't have mixed timeliness.

No, TP happened in the child time line where he did not saved hyrule from ganon, and he is not guilty of any "time split". And actually OoT is the baseline of the whole chronology and it really fuck the history.

>>1055720
No the first time the light spirits appeared was in the reunification war, when link lost his family, is the war that is told in Oot

>why the fuck in TP the light spirits call him a heroe if he was not a heroe?

Well, he did tell the king of Hyrule about Ganondorf's true intentions. That's something, I guess.

I've always thought that the three goddesses exists outside the timelines. In other words, they're able to see and exist in all the timelines at once.

Since the light spirits have had some sort of interaction with the goddesses, maybe they were told about the Hero of Time's accomplishments, even though those technically occurred in a separate timeline.

Shit, I don't know.
