SSU all the way. Maybe a bit biased because that’s the version I played as a kid (in my mid 20’s now). I think the original had better sound quality and better co-op, but SSU adds a lot more content and I think the game looks better too. Also all the new songs like the Heavy Lobster theme, Masked Dedede, and Galacta Knight’s theme are amazing. The only song I think sounds worse is the Milky Way Wishes credits theme because they changed it to minor key, I think it sounds happier in major key.

The original has more charming aesthetics, better-sounding music, and a slightly tougher difficulty, but the remake has more content and I've played it more. I think nowadays I kinda prefer the SNES version for playing through the original set of mini games.
Also, Kirby's movement is not the same between the two.

This was my most favorite platforming game on the NES as a kid. The GBA version is 16-bit and has super cute sprites to boot. All nostalgia aside, this game is just for kids. I only replay for nostalgia every few years or so.

It alright, sure its no Bonk Adventure, sure its seems easy until you try to speedrun it. Looking back it has a lot of stuff thats easy to miss. The different animations when jumping and falling, pretty detailed really, I like the bit where background priority changes in one level so it looks like you are behind the stars.

I think most Kirby games are *fine*. My favourite is probably Kirby's Adventure where it just pushes the NES to the max. Kirby's Super Star on SNES has amazing cute graphics but i was never into its design...maybe the graphics are all a bit too big for the screen size.
