Any recommended /vr/ Jurassic Park game? Which are your favourite /vr/ Jurassic Park games that are still playable even today? 16bit-32bit ones and arcade ones are more appreciated.

The Lost World for PS1/Saturn was pretty good. Hard as shit, but good. Worth it just for the Dreamworks Intro:

Also the arcade game with guns was pretty damned cool, particularly all the T-rex fights.

I like Jurassic Park and Jurassic Park: Rampage Edition on the Genesis.

The Game Gear has a really good Jurassic Park game and it shouldn't take you too long to beat since it is easy.

Park Builder for GBA was the best one, in my opinion.

Jurassic Park 2 for the SNES. Not really to "canon", but a great game with amazing music and atmosphere. Hard as fuck though.

I still have to recommend Trespasser. Deeply flawed and unfinished? Definitely. But is it still novel and interesting to play? Definitely. I get a kick out of weird turn-of-the-millenium FPS games so I even think it's pretty damn fun.

If you're a JP fan playing the game is a must anyway, the Hammond narration is really quite good and worth listening to.

And if you just can't play it or just want to be entertained, the Research Indicates LP of the game is required fucking viewing. Actually anyone who likes video games should watch it.

Sega Jurassic Park. Dr. Grant mode for a more traditional feel, raptor mode for more fun. Though the kill-on-pounce mechanics seem like they could be improved.

Definitely try it out.

I could never for the life of me kill Grant as the raptor but doing Grant's last level was a joke.

I was mad as hell when I learned you just had to destroy the bones

My MOM figured that out (She doesn't play vg) when my brother and I were trying to figure out how to sneak up on Grant. She just started fucking around with the controller when we had just about given up hope. We see the explosions coming from the rock as she kicks it and I'm like...WHAT. THE. FUCK!

offtopic: but my mom who doesn't like many games asides from sudoku, crossword puzzles and solitaire she was hardcore when I was young.

I believe she beat Kings Quest 6 and Return to Zork. I remember finding hand drawn maps of the minotaur labyrinth and notes and such. My dad was cool too

to this day, I have no idea how I discovered kick the rock as the raptor.

Grant was because I ran out of ammo and started just throwing grenades around like a tard.

It's really not a bad game.

I recommend the update from Tres.com though
which makes raptors appear more randomly, able to jump and enter buildings.

Jurassic Park for Sega Master System.

Jurassic Park Operation Genesis was great fun. I wish they made a more complicated sequel
