Hey /vr/, I'm sure this has been talked about to death but I wasn't around to beat that dead horse.
I want to know about game reviewers you enjoy watching and those you hate. I hope this thread might lead to finding some good reviewers that I may have missed.

As it is I have watched:
AVGN - More entertainment than actual game review, the movie making seems to have taken away everything that made this worth watching.
CGR - I enjoy these guys but the original guy seems like the type you want to punch in the face for some reason.
Game Grumps - The fuck is this shit.
Jon Tron - Extension of previously mentioned shit, like the turd that came back after flushing.

Beyond these people, I can't think of anyone that stands out. Any suggestions or gripes?

There's another channel called cartridge crusaders that's about guys who hunt for old games. it's not bad

AVGN is cool but the gimmick can wear on you sometimes

LGR is interesting and does neat old dos games and shit, though he has the large fault of enjoying duke nukem forever

HVGN is likable and cool

Pat the NES Punk is an insufferable turd

Roo is neat and likable enough to watch without much of a problem

Egoraptor's Sequelitis is pompous, insanely over-analytical bullshit from a guy whose ideas on game design is eternally trapped in the 80s-90s

JonTron is funny in the way that a dumb dude making fart sounds with his mouth and running around in a dress is funny, it's about the same type of humor


The Completionist sucks

Peanut Butter Gamer is occasionally good when he isn't weighing his videos down with 12 year old PENGUIN MONKEY SPORK humor i guess

DMJared is all right, dude should keep his weird bird looking face off the camera though

OP here, trying this guy so far. Not bad since it's straight forward without much attempt at "humour". With a lil history thrown in, makes a decent watch. Dudes a total dork.
