I dunno where you live, but in my country PC gaming has always been more popular than console gaming. We were still under communism less than 35 years ago. People stayed poor for a long time even after it fell. Computers were seen as a necessity because people used them for text work with documents in schools, universities and offices. Consoles were seen as a luxury because they could only play games and piracy required paying someone to install a modchip most of the time too. There's also the issue of Nintendo ignoring our country at large because they got buttmad about Taiwanese famiclones being officially sold and getting moderately popular here in the early 1990s.

Yeah it's only in the last dungeon tho. There can be crazy platforming in random dungeons if you're unlucky/lucky enough. It's really not that great for platforming, but the guy in the gifs sucks. I usually like jumping rooftop to rooftop in cities, but you need a fairly high athletics to do it.
