Who greenlit this cover? How do you spend the funds making a CD game for one of the hottest licenses going and end up with this as your cover?
My god, every time I see it it’s as bad as the first time. The top of the head is cut off on the top most Arnie, and the bottom most Arnie isn’t cut out, it has a black border…even though the others don’t. It’s so wildly inconsistent.

It’s honestly growing on me, it’s so badly done it transcends being bad.

anyone know if this is good? recently started downloading GameCube games and my god are there way more than I ever knew about. I wonder how much of the GameCubes hate/reputation for no games stems from game stores just not stocking anything even remotely obscure. I didn't even know they had a Lara Croft game on GameCube and it was my only console till highschool.
yes I know this is PAL only

There has not been a single in-depth gang mechanic that rivals this since. the fact that regular combat moves are also used for intimidation and the combat itself was far more complex than "lock on and mash attack" alone causes a realisation that innovation just straight up gets ignored when it isnt able to be shilled

It stems from retarded fanboyism. The Nintendo outpot on GameCube was great and every genre had strong representation unlike on N64

It's okay, I played it a few months ago but didn't complete it. It gets repetitive fast and has some frustrating issues in game design. Like the safe point system that can throw you back half an hour if you happen to misstep into a bottomless pit that you couldn't see because of a bad camera angle. I liked the level design and the environments, but in later stages (hell level) it gets frustratingly difficult.
The brawl system is quite similar to another PAL exclusive: knights of the temple. Both games are fun for a few hours but I couldn't bring myself to finish them.

In terms of actual at least TRYING to be a fighting game as well as telling the whole story, Budokai 3 is the best of them. But you play the Tenkaichi games for the actual "dbz experience"

Two Towers and Return of the King are amazing games, It's like they put just as much care and passion into those projects as the films. You'd hardly be able to give praise to any game with the EA stamp on it these days... Also love that they got most of the cast to be involved, it was so much fun unlocking the bonus extras.

>Spiderman 2 on PS2.

Man, the first time you start swinging around NYC in that game you really FEEL like you're Spiderman, as someone who's only experience was the PS1 games this blew my mind back then, the freedom of movement. The new spidey games now just don't feel all that exciting to me. It's kind of a "you had to be there" type of thing, especially with the movies coming out around the same time. I don't know how to explain it.
