This was the pack-in game that came with the Playstation the time I got it (Q2 1998). It also had demos of Einhander, Tomba, Jersey Devil, Tomb Raider 2, and NBA Shootout 98. The remainder were trailers for Spyro, RE2, MGS, MLB 99, NFL Xtreme, and a promo for Playstation Underground itself.

The Interactive Samplers were the best shit ever as a kid. I was always jealous of kids who had them

I'm (slowly) working on a complete set of all the ps1 demo discs and variants for...reasons.
Apparently vol. 10 and 11 are a bitch to find in good condition for a reasonable price

So far I have a complete set of all 112 PS magazine discs (PS1+PS2)

I have this exact demo disc, OP, but there is no 'Brave Fencer Musashi' content included within it.

It does however include playable demos of the following games:

> Blasto
> Einhänder
> Gex – Enter the Gecko
> Gran Turismo
> Hot Shots Golf
> Jersey Devil
> NBA Shootout ’98
> Tekken 3
> Tomb Raider II
> Tomba!

And also contains videos of the following:

> MLB ’99
> Metal Gear Solid
> NFL Xtreme
> PlayStation Underground CD Magazine
> Resident Evil 2
> Spyro the Dragon

I've tried to find the CD but I just can't. Maybe I lost it while moving to my current house more than a decade ago, but I held on to the sleeve just for the nostalgia of it.

I vividly recall playing the Blasto, Jersey Devil and the Tomba demos over and over again but, the memory that got burned into my brain the hardest was the RE2 trailer.
The first RE I played was Nemesis, and it didn't exactly scare me that much, so I thought 2 would be even milder so, when I came upon the trailer, I played it out of curiosity. I thought, "Silent Hill is scary, but RE is just cool".
Boy, was I wrong.

It starts with these inhuman growls that sound like they came out of a dying bear, then the zombies start to appear in the screen, making their classic groans. Not too far off from RE3, but more unnerving than anything that game had.
Then this panic attack ass track starts playing, and you get images of Leon and Claire blasting zombies and running, and with each shot the video becomes more frantic. Then they start to show them taking damage and being overwhelmed with zombies. "Well, this looks a bit scarier, maybe it'll be better than RE3!", I thought.
Next thing, all sound is drained from the trailer and we get that title card that says "Can you survive the evil?", then the fucking giant sewer crocodile shows up.
I cannot explain the visceral terror I felt when I saw it. It was the most terrifying fucking thing I had seen in a game up to that point. And then, in spite of Leon shooting at it, it eats him whole.

I turned off the console and just sat there thinking about what the fuck I'd just seen.

Ah, the good times.

For me it's volume eight. Got a lot of mileage out the playable demos on it as a kid.
Spyro The Dragon
NFL Extreme
MediEvil
Gran Turismo
Test Drive 5
Metal Gear Solid
Ninja
Cool Boarders 3
WWF Warzone

Also had the trailer for Parasite Eve among others.
