Rocket Knight Adventures.

Tight gameplay, killer soundtrack, amazing boss fights, and non-stop relentless action. Best game in the whole Genesis library. Must-play.

The SNES version was an entirely different game. The SNES version was mediocre at best. In fact, I didn't even like the SNES version. The Genesis version was totally different and a hundred times better.

Why don't you play the Genesis version and find out for yourself? :)

No, I genuinely love Moonwalker as a game. probably isn't quite my favourite, but the games I listed I genuinely really love and added for diversity rather than listing something people have already added to the thread.

Really I know hearing someone say "Michael Jackson's Moonwalker" was a great game sounds like it must be someone being silly, but is actually a genuinely really good game, but the MegaDrive and the arcade version.

Addams Family is a pretty good platformer with more secrets than any other game I've played and unforgiving but doable difficulty. It was one of my favourite games growing up.

I thought Jurassic Park was pretty good, but compared to Rocket Knight Adventures and Gunstar Heroes its a shit sandwich. Likewise with the spin-off Sonic games love the Sonic 3D soundtrack though.

Forgot to mention Ecco the Dolphin, Shinobi, and Moonwalker. Revenge of Shinobi and Shinobi 3 are fantastic Shinobi 3 really improves on Revenge's formula.

You should also play the Ninja Turtles beat 'em ups. I found Hyperstone Heist on emulator last year and really enjoyed it.

It's pic related for me. An unpopular opinion of mine is that I think it's much better than the original. I'm not saying I think the original is terrible, and it deserves kudos for its innovation, but I don't think its limited enrivonments lend themselves to exploration - certainly not for the time it needs you to commit.

Panic on Funkotron is more fun and rewarding to explore, as well as looking good enough to eat.
