pic related is memorable to lot of you because tcg and the tv show at the time was popular. theres no proper scaling and strategy involved and grinding cards is a nightmare

it's no secret. you'd be hard pressed to find anyone who would disagree. many, like myself, fully acknowledge it's trash but love it anyway. also the scaling is fine until after the modern day arc. once you go back to egypt enemy decks start being too pumped up and you're forced to farm cards hardcore, just as you say.

it's memorable to me because it's the closest i'll ever get to the hologram duels from the show & comic without stumbling onto an arcade with a duel terminal or playing eye of judgement which is an entirely different TCG altogether.

forbidden memories and almost any yugioh game that uses DDS's rulings is ass.

getting dark magician girl is such a fucking nightmare. yugi is fortunately a gigantic jobber in the game but still in the end you literally have to gamble to get her after every time you beat him and you only have once chance each time.
