I know this is 99% nostalgia, but I still find sierra box art to be the most fascinating thing ever.

Objectively... this looks like shit... but still after all these years, this cover contains everything that is fun in the world for me.

As much as I enjoy the DQ series that cover looks horrible. Hero's face is poorly drawn, and even if the illustration had been good, there are way too many logos and tacky graphics stamped over it to look anything but cheap and unrefined. Certainly not appropriate as a showcase of "fantastic box art".
