>> No.10323873

Making things as small as possible was the trend in the market at the time. Also, fuck off with that giant promo Pokemon card.

Maybe if you haven't hit your growth spurt yet. That thing gave me hand cramps when I got it.

Into the trash it goes.

Nintendo is not self conscious about the size of its penis and can release little cute game playing toys, which is what a system is.

Take sony and micro$oft by contrast, knowing their penises are small, producing big black monolithic dongtower systems, see.

It seems like it was designed out of spite for people who didn't like the shoulder buttons on the GBA SP.

They wouldn't.

>portable handheld that's actually portable

I wish we got more of these, but handhelds eventually grew into slightly smaller consoles you can't realistically bring anywhere unless you get a officially licensed gamer bag to hold your stupid handheld in.
I have one, but the battery won't keep a charge. I assume all I need to do is replace it, but I haven't gotten around to it yet. I love the Micro.

This thing would have been incredible if it had a suspend mode like the DS. It's basically designed for commuters.

(I know some RPGs had a "suspend" feature but it's really not the same thing)

I wonder if the apparent rise in the online popularity of the GB Micro has something to do with younger people entering the discussion, because for years it felt like the go-to GBA device was the GBA SP 101, now it seems like everybody is jerking off to Micros. Back in the day it just felt like the poor man's option for kids who missed out on the GBA when it was more current, like the toploader NES and the SNES Jr.
