I had about 20 GOG games on sale in my shopping cart for 15 bucks, thinking I'd give back to them after pirating so many of their DRM free games (and also get some games I haven't played before). My credit card didn't work for no real reason last night and when I went back today knowing it was working, 95% of the games were not on sale anymore and it would have cost me 70€ to buy them now.
Why does God punish those who wish to do good deeds and reward those who break the law?

Dude, fuck GOG. Really, just pirate games.
I was of the same mindset as you, and they they've just told me I can't buy their games anymore (I'm from Russia, so GOG stopped selling games to me because of you know what).
So fuck'em. They do not want my money, therefore you can safely assume they do not want yours either.

It's more convenient with older games to get them legit on a digital platform. I'm aware of Gog-games but they don't have torrents and have slow download so they can suck my peepee. I specifically wanted to try Stranglehold but that was one of the sales that stopped. Never seen it anywhere else
