What is the target audience for this game? It's kind of cool. Have you guys played it and what did you think of it.

>What is the target audience for this game?

Considering when it came out: the Zelda 2 crowd.

I played it and I like it a lot. The dungeon fights are a bit too simple (spam a single move to win). Also you can sequence break in at least 2 places but if you do prepare to get fucked by the stronger enemies

Lots of Dungeon Crawlers and the like were just like this when it game out. Dragon Slayer, Xanadu, Zelda 2, Druaga 2 (I forget the name)

It was just one of the many.

Xanadu is a pos. I liked this game though.

just another riff on falcoms xanadu. there is no target audience other than it was a very popular genre at the time. maze of galious and goonies ii came out the same year from konami. rygar from tecmo. dragon slayer 4 (legacy of the wizard) from falcom. dont listen to anyone that says zelda 2! zelda 2! no. theres literally 100 of these platform rpgs/exploration for a few years in the 80s. very popular. big sellers after druaga and xanadu.

I played this with the English romhack. I had some trouble toward the end though. Great music though.
