Soul Reaver 1 and 2 are alright save for the box puzzles which are just timewasters. Blood Omen is also pretty slow at least on the PSX. Gameplay isn't the forte of the series.

I've been replaying SR1 and I'm having fun with it, the problem is the game practically ends after the halfway point (approximately when you gain the swimming ability), as the game was heavily cut during development, so for me, acquiring the last three glyphs before I go to the last two areas makes it a bit of a chore. I would frankly rather have taken a completed game over a series of sequels that only complicated things further. Blood Omen 1 is the best game in the series.

Let me drop some knowledge on y'all about the Soul Reaver, Kain's OG blade. This bad boy is older than your grandma's grandma and deadlier than that spicy ghost pepper challenge. Legend has it that this blade is straight-up possessed, and it gets its power by munching on the souls of its victims. And let me tell ya, when Kain whips out the Soul Reaver in a fit of rage, you might as well start writing your obituary 'cause you're about to be six feet under, homie.
