I don't know exactly how 4chan compresses images, but the dimensions and size of those images haven't changed. Giant screenshots in OpenRCT2 are transparent, which decreases the file size iirc. If you decreased the dimensions in MS Paint, it would lose transparency, but the file size would stay relatively the same (or even increase). I might download Inkscape or something so I can retain transparency and resize screencaps, because right now I have a neat screencap of the current park, but the file size is like 8.5 MB. Pic related is my lazy attempt to stay under the 4 MB limit aka I just zoomed out one tic lol . Zooming out/increasing window scale factor decreases the quality of a giant screenshot. Hope that helps.

I recall being on some sort of log flume-esque ride or something that had a downward helix. It was something like this. We climbed some stairs to reach the station at the top, and then did some helixes and then there was a drop into a straight track that splashed onto the walkway above. Is it possible to recreate this in Open RCT2?

>> No.10257189

Kind of, but not with perfect circles. It needs to descend without helices in this game because the log flume ride doesn't have them. So it needs to turn twice, descend, turn twice, descend, etc.

Shit, was it really august? I don't have a save for it. That was the month my hard drive died, so I don't have any saves from August.

I picked this map because I didn't see it in my hosted saves folder for 2023. If we want to switch, now's the time to put forth any suggestions.

ah didn't know it had to run to be saved, but i have one more shitty suggestion
>replacing special pieces with basic placeholder tracks to connect it
>replace lift hill with a regular hill
>set to one train
that way it's forced to roll back to the station and complete the test no matter the settings
i question whether it's even worth it over all that trouble, but maybe it'll help you
