Shame we never had games that truly depicted late 90s CG renders 1:1. There are fan-made projects like Render96 for Mario 64, and the Dead or Alive games, but that's all I can recall.

I wish the remakes of RE2 and RE3 stayed closer to the original's pre-rendered look. They had so much more personality and color, and it would've given the series the identity it desperately needs nowadays. Major missed opportunity.

This is part of the reason I hate remakes so much. The new ones barely look at all like who they're supposed to and they almost all but completely erased the public image. It only makes me furious when I have to look up Lara Croft (Classic) with the suffix because these apes who just want to latch onto something iconic without appreciate why it is before they get bored and move on to something else to ruin.
