It's Rockman in Japan. Early releases of MM in the US split the name up into Mega Man on the title screen, but tend to refer to him as Megaman in-game. Later releases just use Megaman as the title, in general.

If you weren't a newfag to gaymen, you'd have known PSX was the next prototype name (after SNES Play Station) for the PlayStation which is why the media and press called it the PSX which is why everyone else called it and still refers to it as the PSX, instead of that obscure PS2 DVR nobody ever used. Calling a grey PS "PS1" is also objectively wrong, because PS1 refers to the smaller white unit that came several years later. However, PS and PSX are both appropriate acronyms for the PlayStation, irregardless of that thing going by the name PSX that came a decade later.
