The Japanese Sonic 3 manual has it written without a "・" between the stage name to indicate a space, it's the only stage like this. It's written like ハイドロシティ instead of ハイドロ・シティ.

What’s your favorite of the GBA trilogy? My personal favorite is 3, but I think 1 has the best OST of the three.

Yeah Mickey and Donald's World of Illusion, Genesis. The underwater levels were superficially calm and peaceful but weirdly claustrophobic and threatening at the same time. Note the Mode 7-like background and eerie almost vaporwave BGM:
