I usually do the game in order, what is the bow required for in the dungeon and how do you get around it? If I remember right there's at least one eyeball you need to shoot, not sure how you get around that otherwise.

two places: an eye switch in the central room which leads to a key (that you can easily just skip altogether), and an eye switch at the end of the whirpool room (the place you drop down to after getting the Longshot). there's nothing important in that area so you don't even really need to go down there at all. just use farore's wind to return to the central area, or you can even use the ocarina to return to lake hylia and go back through the entrance. the bow is not only unnecessary but you can literally beat the dungeon faster without using it.

I didn't even know you could, but I always enjoy visiting the Forest Temple before anywhere else, so the bow gets into my inventory pretty quick.
I think Forest and Shadow temples are my favorite dungeons because you get to fight Stalfos. Those guys are fun.

If I did it's because I felt like it, and the fact you care is far worse than whatever lost merit you presume

we've been over this: there's two eye switches and both can be circumvented with farore's or warp songs. this isn't even the only way to beat the dungeon without bow. cope brainlet.

>> No.10188570

>you only beat the game if you have a baby brain
" No "
the designers put shit like farore's wind, warp songs, overworld shortcuts and other similar things in the game for the express purpose of sequence breaking and letting you experiment. if you clear the dungeons and kill ganon, you beat the game, end of story. not like this even matters since the only people who even consider doing this kind of stuff have already beaten the game a million times.

>he didn't complete the dungeon
sure I did, back in 1998. now it's fun to play the game in different ways (like the devs anticipated). you sure are mad about the game having so much replayability.

I would assume so, since they created an item used explicitly for sequence breaking and were decent enough to add various shortcuts and alternate paths through the world.

I know a lot of people hate the Water Temple but the one I can never make my mind up about is the Forest Temple. I think I got sick of how many times I get turned around whenever I play that one, and the climbing in Ocarina of Time is super slow and feels like dogshit, so every time I got turned around or had to retrace my steps it felt agonizing.

Ship of Harkinian at least has a QOL mod for faster climbing. I wish the base game had been like that because the amount of time wasted on slow climbing in OoT is maddening.

>you don't need to beat the three to play Spirit Temple retard.
You cannot get to the temple without the Longshot and LoT. Prove me wrong with evidence.

>the ghost you don't need because you can literally memorize the path through haunted wasteland?
You're not argueing on the basis of a first time player since that's the case, speedrun tranny. Imagine forcing a stipulation onto a novice player by brute forcing a clearly intended solution to a problem by turning it into Trial and Error bullshitnjust so you can prove your semtantical theory right.
