>Controllers but they are bolted on to the cab
Has anyone here ever tried the NSS? Looks very uncomfortable to use.

I have.
It is.

Can confirm. They LOOK like controllers from images, but in practice they feel more like arcade panels that are raised up so you can push the buttons with your thumbs. They're made of a very heavy material.

Cabs always have controllers bolted on to them...

I think it's supposed to be. They want people to try the game just enough to buy it but not sit there playing for an hour. Same reason why barstools aren't the most comfortable things to sit on.

I have one of these. Got it for 20 off a guy at a convention after almost passing on it. It definitely was bolted down in the mid section im the back, but you can still grip your hands around the sides. Feels really nice in the hands actually, think of it like the snes version of the xbox duke. I also got to play the real unit at a convention and spoke to the owner of it. I told him how someday id like to look into a harness adapter or modification to use it as a real snes controller, but he was telling me how these are glued shut making them a bitch to actually disassemble, however the one i have actually does have bolts to open it up. The one issue, is they have some kind of foam padding under the d pad and buttons that turns to slop. So you can press stuff down, but it feels like you are in slow motion doing that.
