I love rides like this, its simple but its cute and fun. Create more literal spaghetti monsters anon! God damn its amazing how RCT is still so fun. The team beyond the open project is beyond based. While we get modern copycats that try really hard to modernize and make "rtc" great again. Most fail and are shit, one is thankfully good. But it will never be RTC, it can never be truly based. Because the game was created by a madlad a neckbeard wizard.

The only thing I wish we had more of, is amazing sprite work for rides. Stuff that captures the art style perfectly, giving us amazing new rides or even coasters. Why is it so hard for people to create late 90's sprite work. Like fuck people are not asking for metal slug/X fighting game/etc hand drawn animation digitized then painted with digital colouring or those amazing 3D models minimalized with 7,14,28fps sprite animation. Inb4 do it yourself than faggot. This and lowpoly charming late 90's models are so hard to nail the art style.
But then again RCT2 is basically perfect so asking for new shit is retarded really really retarded. Stop holding the monkey paw, throw it in the trash its evil.

Tons. I used to go to an amusement park with my family every summer until I moved out of my parents' house after college. I LOVED roller coasters, especially the intense ones with inversions, and the classic "boomerang" roller coaster. Fast forward like 10 years later, and I can't do the more intense ones too much without getting motion sickness. The backwards part of the boomerang coaster makes me sick 100% of the time without fail. I guess that's what happens when you get older. Maybe the very long hiatus I took from them contributed too. I still like them though for the most part, I just can't go backwards or ride the intense ones like I used to be able to.

I'm sorry to hear that. It wasn't my first, but I got to ride one of the tallest indoor Schwarzkopf coasters named "Mindbender" in West Edmonton Mall a number of times despite a fatal accident occuring during the 80s and before it was recently dismantled. QRD the German manual mentioned replacing the underside wheels but the station platform made this difficult to do not to mention nobody knew German and simply overlooked that crucial detail resulting in three fatalities and other various injuries. Fantastic ride that never deserved the tragic reputation it gained.

Woah

Loved this game growing up. Best levels were the ones you made the coaster into mountains or water. I mostly downloaded the other ones, but there were patches where you could make them ride anything and enjoy it so I could make the wackiest coasters. Spent months playing that game

I like this area, and this particular knot of the looping coaster.

What sucks is I cut it to 29 and it didn't help much (and dropped the excitement rating), I'll keep trying to cut out drops and see if I can get anything.

i've been wanting to play the xbox port of rct1 ever since i was a little kid, i was perfectly aware of how bizarre the control scheme was and after all this time i STILL wasn't expecting it to feel this weird

>> No.10213948

The soft limit is 23 or 24. Anything above that just adds extra intensity.

Holy shit, I completely forgot that existed. What a strange port. Kind of reminds me of Starcraft for the N64 in terms of weirdness.

despite the fucked up controls, i think it's actually a more impressive port than most people give it credit for? when i was a little kid, i had this petty grudge towards most sim/management game ports on consoles since they were always so limited compared to the pc versions, but as far as i can tell this is literally just the pc version of rctll with no removed content and no added limitations other than the 16 save slot limit? rct1 was a 4 year old game by the time frontier's port came out, so it's not the most impressive thing in the world, but i still think it's fucking cool. i wonder how it runs on original hardware with an upgraded pentium 3...
and no, openrct2 doesn't support importing xbox .sv4 files :(
