Yoshi's Island is extremely overrated. It's one of the most boring and tedious 2D platformers I've ever played. If Miyamoto's goal was to make the complete opposite of Mario, he accomplished it in spades. Sonic may not be the best platformer, but it's not Yoshi's Island and for that I'm grateful.
