Last year I bought a bunch of Nintendo ornaments (+ a Sonic one) so I could make my /vr/ Christmas tree. I'm pleased with how it came out, just never got the actual Starman topper for it. I plan on doing a larger one this year since I have so many now

As someone who gave all my games away to friends when ODDEs became a thing I think this is very weird. I would have thrown my games in the trash since I was too lazy to sell them if I didn't have people to give them too. I have a modest collection of CRTs including arcade monitors so it isn't like I care about stuff taking up space as long as it is something I like. Games are for playing.

Very little. I have a few small Final Fantasy 3 figurines because I like them, and used to have the Red Mage/White Mage/Black Mage on my desk before I started working from home. Otherwise I don't really have anything that didn't come with a 'collector's' edition. I don't buy those anymore, but I was suckered just like everyone else in the 2000s.

I sold or gave whatever merch i had to friends.

The fire emblem pins from shadows of valentia are goated. Even though they arn’t retro, the sprites are retro style and found a new home on my converse shoes.

Sometimes I forget they are there, and the real ones mention them. If they talk about fire emblem past awakening i keep the conversation short.

Not much since coming from a low income bracket. Nintendo gave these T-shirts from a trade show. They had a laser light show of Starfox inside a dome, and they were exited about the Super Mario Bros. movie at the time. After the success of Starfox, they had a few sit-down racing setups showing off the then unfinished Stunt Race FX. I remember revisiting the Nintendo booth and picked up a lot of Nintendo Power pins too, but the T-shirt was only if you waited in line to enter the dome for the Starfox laser light show.

retro wise i got a deck of playing cards for GUN as a preorder.

the only non-clothing gaming related merch i have that i thought was cool is the RC car bomb you got with the collecter's edition for one of the call of dutys because it's an actual RC car with a built in camera. sucks up batteries like crazy though.

Pre ordered genesis collection on xbox 360 just for the blue record with outrun music, not my pic but its the same.

I got a bunch little things like sega cards from some competition they did from around sonic and knuckles. I think if you got a certain picture you won something.

I got new stuff because its based on retro games. Sonic and mario figures, a little plastic mario bros light up sign, a zelda sword and pacman lamp.
Got a collection of those sega gashapon they were selling on ebay when they were new. Also some n64 and gamecube controller keyrings.

I got sega vhs from the market years ago, its about the Mega CD and it hugely misrepresents what the games on the console were like such as sped up footage to make framerates look smoother.
