Sidewinder series, especially the second game. It was Ace Combat's rival in nipland but you can barely find anything about these games in English, it's completely forgotten and unknown in the west, probably because it doesnt have any anime tier ebin superweapons for the weeb fanboys.

Best ps2 action rpg imo. Seriously tho, it's worth a playthrough. You can caste spells and ride a dragon on the air to fight shit above and below the grow. Wish it had multiple difficulty modes or unlockable hard mode.

The pc version of Demon Stone works fine with nvidia 3D vision. Lower resolution than all of the newer pc games but the 3D compatibility was a nice discovery.

If I had to guess I'd say it's either Todd Lockwood or Wayne Reynolds (lead artists in 3e which was the established system at the time of release). That's the US only art too and the PAL box looks like bargain bin shit, no idea why they used it.
