Ly was cool. It's a shame every rayman game "rebooted" the franchise. Rayman 1 2 and 3 have nothing to do with one another and don't even have the same aesthetics. only thing that carried over from Rayman 2 to 3 were Rayman, Globox and the teensies.

PS2 was on fire basically out of the gate. Tons of excellent games by the end of 2000. Most people focus on that 2001 fall period because that shitty image macro that gets passed around but there's lots of great early stuff.

yup its the only port that runs stable 60fps, and also 480p VGA. 3ds port is direct port(minus some minigames) but it runs worse and has some glitches from being (extremely) lazy port, but if have hacked new 3ds you can get it running stable 60fps with 3D.
