GTA SA isn't a PS2 game. MGS3 is a PS2 game, so are Jak & Daxter and Ratchet & Clank games to name a few. Spider-Man 2 movie game was released on other consoles but not on PC so you can count it as a PS2 game if you want.

No, all the R* games at the time were released on PC and the PC version always the best features and graphics so they were the definitive versions so to say. If there were no PC version or new gen version to be seen then they were PS2/console games. You can say MGS3 or so became new gen games when they were HD ported around 2010 to newer consoles.

I like all sorts of genres but RPGs and story-focused adventure games are my favourite.

At the moment I'm downloading God of War and Hitman Blood Money. Definitely gonna get into Gran Turismo 4 and the Yugioh game as well. Tbh I don't wanna discriminate against any game, just looking to play great games from the PS2 era :)

Ok, maybe just Vice City, since 3 was improved on PC just a bit. But all 3 GTA games ports are very buggy and one should take care not to use mouse aim in 3 and VC cause it completely dulls the difficulty.

It isn't just about autism. I have a pretty low end pc but it can run games from that time on high settings so I only buy them on PS2 if there is no PC port available. I could see Tony Hawk games as PS2 games because they are not designed at all to be played on keyboard but they have PC ports. There are games like Scarface movie game which are fucked up on PC even after unofficial patches tho that game is pretty rare to find I would buy it on PS2 because I can just put the disc in and play.

I talked about PS2 era games and IV is PS3/Xbox360. All the PS2 era R* & co games can be easily ran with high settings on PC and have mods and stuff, meanwhile the PS2 port is usually packed with ultra compressed textures. Something like Max Payne 1 and 2 come to mind and GTA IV and SA.

Obviously R* or whomever should provide the patches on PC if they still sell the game and charge money for it, but you hardly have to do anything but click the fps limiter and widescreen fix boxes on the installer. The PS2 dualshock controller can be pretty not precise especially when you have to do pinpoint sniping and SA has autoaim anyway iirc.

Metal Saga which is an rpg thats kind of goofy at times but has alot going on. Its a tank rpg and the series goes as far back as the famicom and some of the games have been translated over the years. but def play metal saga and enjoy the crap out of it. there's alot going on in it.

also only because I played thru and beat it years ago and had fun with it. Beat Down fists of vengance. its like a free roam fighting beat um up. you go thru fight people and unlock more of the story. ive beat it with 3 people so far. it has a cast of charactors some looking like they're from an anime and its not bad.
Last is another game I played and beat which was Urban Reign. another fighting beat up game. decent and easy to unlock almost everything.

you are mentally ill, gta 3/vc/sa are totally broken without mods, you need 10 graphics mods just to re-enable graphics options that are different on every console/version and inferior on the base pc version, it is not a matter of simply "click fps limiter and widescreen fix" and rockstar have patched the games on modern storefronts to remove half the music because the licenses have ran out so you need to downgrade your version to 1.0 to get them back before you do anything else

You aren't wrong but it's still worth it to either emulate the games, run a non-PS2 console version, or fix them on PC. It looks, feels, and loads like fried shit with less asset variety and actor density on a native PS2. One should be aware of the graphical differences and necessity to mod as you say, though.
