Besides the obvious stuff by Capcom/Sega with Disney and Konami with Warner?
Astro Boy Omega Factor.
Taito's Hanna-Barbera stuff is also good.

That's hilarious, they just added the mandatory post-90s pixel art idle character up-and-down bounce to a fucking quadruped lmao

Post-90s? Don't most characters from fighting games in the 90s have that sort of idle?
It also makes more sense in a quadruped, somehow.

90s fighting game characters had fighting stances, yeah. Consider the difference of what a boxer and what say a doordash guy do when they are "standing", though. At some point, game animators decided that motion is there to be motion, in a templated and by-the-pound kind of way rather than to convey character or context.

To be fair though, most of the games that put animation quality in the spotlight during the 90s did the same thing. Most of the alternative came more from technical constraints than from thoughfulness and subtlety. There's exceptions like picrel of course, but given fucking Disney themselves did the reference animation it's kind of a cherry pick.

I grew up with the Toy Story 2, Emperors New Groove, and Bugs Life PS1 games.

Toy Story 2 and Emperor's New Groove are both great but damn Bugs Life sucks. I'm pretty sure the only reason anyone has nostalgia for it is because the first level's music is fucking serene.

based, I beat that game on PS1 when I was a kid. I remember it had FMV from the movie and was a pretty fun game overall. Better than Hercules which was too easy and short IMO. Tarzan had better length. Think I'll play the N64 version today, it's been a long time

As other anon said, Omega Factor is like a huge crossover with many famous Tezuka works, revolving around the general plot of Astro Boy.
In the case of Kimba/Leo, it's actually not exactly him, but one of the forms that another characters adops, Pook, who can transform into various animals.
There was actually a kind of crossover with Astro and Kimba back in the original 60s anime, a white lion appears in one episode although his name is never mentioned. Astro and Kimba also appear together in the 70s movie Marine Express, although their roles are also different. The Marine Express also appears in Omega Factor.
It's pretty convoluted, look up Tezuka's Star System (basically, he treated his characters as if they were actors, and each could act different roles in different works).
Omega Factor is a prime example of this. Really great game, both in terms of gameplay and also in terms of the love the devs had for Tezuka's works.
